Vladimir, what's the power output of your Zen V9 version on 8 ohms? Just curious

"Real" loudspeakers with a crossover, even if rated as 8 Ohms, in 95% of cases have impedance dips close to 3-4 Ohms at 50-100 Hz frequencies. Phase shift between current and voltage and some other factors make the situation even worse. Believe, if one intends to listen real possibilities of schematics, design it for 2,5 Ohms.
In my case maximum peak current of 9,6A is provided, i.e. I am safe up to 22V voltage peaks at 2,5 Ohms. My speakers are quite a "real" - PMC EB1i rated at 4 Ohms. For them, version of Zen9 with idle current of 4,8A is more comfortable than the previous version with 3,8A. For home listening, crystal clear tube-like sound of Zen9 is remaining, and the bass can hardly be improved.
