Look! Who's your Uncle!?!?

well, Bubba Flocchini Uncle Bob ...... is my Uncle

I can bet - his name substantially elongated , in time he's wasting time with me .... :clown:

anyway - when you have Uncle as I have, no use of squeaking - I don't want, I was joking ....... and even when you subside, he sends more than agreed

so , Bob's my Bubba

not only he sent those Biguns, he also helped me getting 1K of Silicone Dust particles, avoiding outrageous Customs fees; believe it or not - my conscience is clear :devilr:

hope one day to visit his beloved Cyclotron thingie, to investigate how he got radiated with Goodness

Hi ZM,
I'm trying to scale the transformer:
The rail voltages of the XA252 can be 30-35vdc.
Maximum dissipation of my 4U/400 is 100w channel
My 93db 4ohm speakers are happy with max. 10Vpp/3.5Vrms and 1A rms

So I could go with 30Vdc and 1.67A, 35Vdc 1.43A or something in between.
What's your preference for my setup, what makes the XA252 sing most happy ?

30Vdc rails is what you'll be happy with

so , lets say- decent 300VA Donut with two separate 24Vac secondaries , per channel

in that case, I see 33mF/35V logical choice for caps

question? - do you need something as XA252 for your spks?

there is upcoming Plethora of Pinjatas amp, which is nothing else than XA252 on regular 22V5dc rails and pair of IRFP in output

though - I'm not wanting to spoil your choice of Cage Rattlers :clown:
