Finally got my H2 wrapped up and playing music. Super impressed!!
Nice! What’s the part # for the wall ward input socket?

Very nice! Hopefully get started on mine soon.

I believe it’s 839-1448-ND. I had it in my drawer.

Got it in a cart, thanks!
I finished my H2, what a nice Christmas present! I used a cigar box from Nicaragua which I had, the only part I bought was the ALPS 50K pot, everything else was in a drawer.

Here are the REW graphs and a scope pattern of the output. 1v output, with volume control at maximum adjusted to 1% H2.
Ignore the 60 Hz, 120Hz, it always shows up when I use REW, and I never hear it when in operation.

my Vp is very close yours, at 2.77. What T2 voltages did you use for 1% and 2%?

I measured (@1% H2):
L = 15.95 vdc
R = 15.79 vdc
I did not adjust for 2% H2. When I built my B1 Korg preamp, I made the adjustment with the preamp connected to my M2X amplifier. I adjusted the B1 Korg for 1% H2 on the output of the M2X amplifier with a 4 ohm load and 2v out.
When I decide what amp this preamp will go with, I'll do the same thing.
I'm going to spend time this week and weekend comparing the H2 with the B1 Korg feeding the M2X.

Thanks!! I don’t have any measuring equipment, so set mine at 15.85 based on the graph. Happy to see yours measuring similarly. Will be curious where your final numbers end up once you choose the amp.
I finished mine a week or so ago and finally installed it into a Hammond case I had been using for an RCA switch.
When I first started testing it, I was perplexed when I was measuring 14.x colts at the T2’s. Re-reading Nelson’s article and comprehending the graph I found that I was right where I needed to be (Vp of 2.53V). I set this for 14.22V from the graph. I did a bit of listening yesterday and it sounded good; I listened first with the speaker cables oriented normally and then flipped them. I need to do more listening. Thanks a lot for doing this Nelson... very interesting!

Mine is all but finished. Hopefully I will get a listen over the weekend.
Nice looking build!
Nice looking build!
Thanks. I managed a listen last night; portable CD player; M2 clone through the stunt speakers(4" drivers on a piece of chipboard). The Best of Free; very pleasing to the ears.
