Sorry to nudge...Question max rail voltage
Apologies if I have missed this...

What is the acceptable range of rail voltage and is there any benefit in operating at high voltage than the 24 proposed?

You could probably go a few volts more with no ill effect, but it wouldn’t gain you much except heat.
