Looking for Power supply with lots of LEDs

Iam looking for a power supply with +/- 15-24V for Pre amp / RIAA.
Have the idea instead of using 78/79 or 317/337 to take some LEDs

for voltage control and wondering if there´s a way to do so, maybe there are some designs outside that I dont know?

Remembering there was a PASS Design that used 2x 5 LEDs to make the job, but dont remember wich one.
Didnt find anything in PASS schematics. Maybe memory fools me?

We are in 2018 and there are very good new LDO low noise regulators (both positive and negative versions). No need to use a bunch of LEDs as specs probably won't be near as good as the new regs.

78/79 or 317/337 belong to the museum of electronics. They did their job quite well for decades but they have been retired as they are too noisy, need 3V dropout etc.

The Pass design you mention is the B1.
