no , I didn't work on that

point is - every individual part in Babelfish XJ is so little stressed , that possibility of break is very small

if you need one , I believe it's easy to find speaker protection for balanced operation , EUVL published here several years ago

If using caps like these :
Epcos B41456B7689M000 - 68000uF 40V - capable of 34A @ 40 celcius
B41456B7689M000 EPCOS (TDK) | Capacitors | DigiKey

What PSU configuration would you recommend per channel? CRC, CRCRC, etc...

CRC is what I would use and even then , never more than 0R1 for R
