Michael,
I've used the very same (or same looking and same specs) with two in series to power my FW amps and they work very well. Less noise than linear trafos. If you pair them up with a 7amp DC to DC converter you can get up to 50vdc supply within same power rating minus efficiency loss.

I need to order the transformers from Mouser and I can start building. I have the above PSU bricks already, heatsinks, a bunch of IRFP240 and 150's. I also now have a Preamp that can drive 20v p-p for 6w rms with the following distortion profile predicted and measured.

thanks ZM

specs say 7V SE and 15V Balanced - not sure if this is peak or rms or average

I think it then could then be 14V (2 x times peak),
2.8 x 7 =19.6 for RMS conversion or
7 x pi =approx 21 using 7 as average for SE

So I need to find out what does mean in the spec sheet

it usually means RMS

so 7V should be 19V8pp

I usually think in Vpp , able to convert to RMS , but anything in between is wooshy mushy for Moi :)

considering that MoFo is inductively loaded stage , means output voltage envelope is practically (almost) doubled PSU rail value ....... and being follower - you need input Vpp pretty much in same range as possible output swing

me likee all that copper/iron :)
