....I wanted to mention for people like myself who are broke, its possible to use for the inductor part an old microwave transformer
each one is 25mh and low low dcr of .4ohms....you could also series to make 50mh and still be under 1ohm
just leave the hi voltage winding alone.

Bi-polarized Nichicon Muse acoustic series is budget economic alternative to more pricey polypro MKP caps.
I use them now in MoFo input and sound quality stay high, interesting cheap component

I'll give you some advice, you're bad with jokes, try to focus only on amplifiers.

well , problem isn't in my joking , but in fact that you didn't understood given answers:
that autoformer is :
1.not having necessary airgap
2.wire is thin for currents involved
3.lamination is of lower quality than needed

your just upset because you didn't think of it FIRST
lamination is OK but there is much more of it!
It will be a highly dynamic coil! give it a try I think you will be surprised Even without a gap there will be plenty of inductance
This Primary coil will handle crap loads of current.

Me like Zen Mod's joking.
Inductors are everywhere...
I see a microwave oven transformer, how many mH, how many mA?

R=3.5 Ohm
L= 208.5 mH
oops i goofed sorry ....yes its 3.5ohms LOL so sorry

Either there is something wrong with my LCR bridge and my little handheld inductance meters... or there is something wrong with yours....
not sure what going on but to make sure I just measured it again same reading 25mh but with correct DCR of 3.5ohmsish
Hello Lawrenceoops I goofed sorry.... yes its 3.5ohms LOL so sorry
Cool
For L inductance measurement I have only this small gadget.
The accuracy is not guaranteed.
More precise resistance on DMM show R= 3.08 Ohm.

Find another microwave transformer in my junk box. His name is Rusty Dusty.
This one is more high but less large core.
R=2 Ohm
L= 164.1 mH
Who have professional L meter and microwave psu transformer to compare values of mH measurements ?
