It seems that I am about to build my liquid cooled Sony Vfet , finally ;)

I need from you guys some info to do so , do the 2SJ313/2SK2013 need to be matched ?

are the TO3 IRF 240/ 9240 "better" in a way than the TO247 , fact is I would like to have them all TO3 :)

well , I thing I will stick around for awhile , it's an serious build :D

I would think that using a multi-turn pot will pay the largest dividends in terms of setting the adjustments properly. I used single-turn pots that came with the kit and it took a bit of effort tweaking back and forth. Once it was set, I checked it a few times and not I just don't think about it anymore.

I've done exactly that. It's possible, but all the pots interact with each other, especially since the feedback loop is closed. Go slowly with tiny changes to the potentiometer settings, let the temperature equalize after each setting. You'll get a feeling for the direction the circuit is going in.

I described my setup in post #88 https://www.diyaudio.com/forums/pas...et-illustrated-build-guide-9.html#post5009054
