I have just tracked down a replacement for NPD5565, which the folks at linear systems have a direct replacement for- LS5565- which has a slightly higher transconductance, otherwise a they tested theirs against the original NS spec and it is a direct replacement, they also have 5566.

Is this a recent addition to Linear Systems? Their web site states 5565 is not available. Same with 5566, but they do show 5564.

I was going through storage yesterday and found the little drawer with
the NDP5566, which is the 8 pin dip package of 2N5566.

A quick search shows that numerous people have needed these for
Threshold repairs and such, and these people can contact me and
arrange for (very limited) quantities.

Mr Pass, I hope you still have these available. I need four, but would buy 8 to have some spares.
