Build autonomus bias psu with his own tramsformer is my choice.
I got LM317 who can work up to 1.5 A it's ok or need add current boost transistor for IXYS bias psu ?

lm317 is too crude

use TL431 or something .......... better than 317

Get small xformer on hand with two 12 V secondaires.

The possible bias voltage starts from 4 V to 12 V.
Build this amplifier is enjoyable
SOT-227B package is handy: two sources, isolate electrically case.
