Nelson,

Sunday I built a one channel CCS X-BOSOZ on a proto board

to make tests on the CCS, its new to me. And check for a good look!!

Is it a good idea to "ground" all Heatsinks on a CCS X-BOSOZ

The 2 for the IRF 510/610 and the heatsink for the CCS IRF610/BD533

No photos...:smash:

My girl friend has received the Powershot A70 for her anniversary,
she realy apreciated.

Regards.

Alain.

PS:
The picture of the sinks, scrap from old power supply...

You don't need to ground it.

To get best thermal performance from it, you mount the transistors without insulator (just thermal grease). Now the heatsink is at the Drain potential of the mosfet. If you do it this way, make shure the hs is not shorted to anything else.

OTOH, if you (for some reason) decide to use insulators, it can be beneficial to ground it.
