Hi, I wrote a mounting layout for the PSU, I wanted to know if the CL60 thermistors are positioned well, is the first inserted on the neutral at the input, or should it be inserted on the Line?
is the positioning of the Capacitor from 0.0033 uF right between L and N?
The second output thermistor connects a PSU ground to the chassis .. is that right?
or is the second thermistor not needed?

I was writing about sum Iq per channel, that figure being logical when calculating dissipation
Aleph J power up issue.
Well I got the aleph j to power on without smoking.
The Leds on the amp boards are lit up. The heat sink does not get hot. I can measure 24 volt coming into the amp board. When attempting to adjust bias at R27 i am getting o volts at the resistor on right side of the board.

Did you start with the "bias" pot at midpoint? Have you turned it at all?
Post some well-lit, in focus, pics of your boards.
For future ease, please note the exact part from the schematic you're measuring at or across. Example - "I measure 0VDC across R18 from the schematic attached."
That will leave little-to-no room for misinterpretation and can help you reach a solution much more quickly.

I am getting nearly 24 volts at the power supply board. For each side.
When hooked up to R18 and adjusting R27 I have 0 volts.
My transformer does not have a ground wire.
Any ideas would be very appreciated.
What fun’s it’s been building separate mono devices. I matched all resistors but used the DIYAS mosfets...did no matching. Bought fets from punkdawg matched at 11ma. 300va antek audio torids. DIYAS ps boards coming in a smidge over +/- 28vdc...loaded +/- 24.22vdc. Bias set to .480...runs 50c...both builds are dead quiet!
Of course there was drama upon firing up...no blue light! Both leds were in backwards. Also, was twisting away at offset watching bias...thought I was really screwed...
I’m waiting for a pair of dirty weekends to use with these wonderful sounding amps. I will alternate Nutube-B1 & Wayne’s 2018 pre to see which I prefer.
