I bought only two samples from China and this what they looked like.
You could easily pair two #1 samples to get a similar curve. I think that would
be usable in cases where very low noise was not the big issue.
I take by this fine offer that lsj74 will be available to us in the near future ?Ahum, err, if you get Linear Audio Vol 6 it comes with a free LSK170B and an LSJ74B. Gets you started!

I would think they are at least serious about producing them to seed demand like this finally .No idea, actually. They are not up on the LS website.

Thank you Mr. Pass...

The demand from the DIY community is a teensy drop in the bucket compared to real manufacturers. The problem is simple that P-channels are much, much harder to make than N's, and their production yields have been abysmal.
Well here hoping that the diy market can help clean up the abysmal output. The demand from the DIY community is a teensy drop in the bucket compared to real manufacturers. The problem is simple that P-channels are much, much harder to make than N's, and their production yields have been abysmal.
and why is it that when a project becomes popular here, the devices gets obsolete not long after
It`s the other way around.
There`s some logic in that mind you...
ok, I will rephrase it and say, large stocks of obsolete NOS devices turns into rare unobtaniums very fast
personally I happen to have enough for my own future projects
otherwise I would probably just forget about it
but that was not a suggestion
but for some reason, most present builders seem to be 'first timers' with little experience
in a way a bit contradicting

Hi,

Just another source of Fakinosis multiplis?
The original would be: "de mortuis nil nisi bene""
Often translated as "Don´t talk bad about the dead", but rather: "Don´t talk in a bad manner about the dead".
But then again: "de minimis non curat lex"

Is this accusation about fakes from jackinnj true?
what? please read it again
Given the topic of the thread, jackinnj's business venture, and the sentence with "fake" and his name in it, then you can see why one can get confused.
