Korg Nutube with New Class D 24 v Supply. Followed by Aleph 1.7 with passive supply. 20.000 uf /Channel followed by 56 ohm 200 MH. Then 6.000 uf. And 56 ohm resistors and 6000 uf again. Should I use a 49 vac or a 55 vac transformer. This would be a passive supply. Or should I rather use the Supply for Bozoz with regulator? I think the passive supply will be the best choice??? Current consumption 70 ma or channel.
schematic could help , as explanation what you are doing
all I can see is relatively lousy soldering job , and usage of audiophool parts (those film resistors) in completely non-critical position
Mighty Zenmod, have you been into the wine? “In Vino Veritas”
I still didn't got what actual problem is ?
I measure aprox 630 mv AC on both outputs. Everything else is ok. Current for each board is the 70 ma. Voltage is 61 Vdc. I use ClCl CR.
Hi in my 1.7 I would like to use this fantastic capacitor at input. One of the inputs in each channel are shorted to ground. How will it work if I use this in the fase that is not shorted and leave the other with the terrible Panasonic MKP? I also thinking to use Kasei Electrolytics because there is only 3 Vdc at the input off those boards.
what exactly does make that capacitor "fantastic" and the other one terrible?
p.s. for Wima's I used on my board at least the manufacturer provided measurements over the full audio range so one could argue that there was something in the way of documentation; (not to say that that makes them any better or more "fantastic" than those Papa used in the commercial builds).
