Two reasons, one is just for the heck of it (i.e. fun) and the other is it will be part 2 to the article I wrote on Acourate Digital Room and Loudspeaker Correction Software Walkthrough.

If interested, there is good info on Digital XO, Driver Linearization, Time Alignment, etc.
