I think so. As long as you readjust the whole amplifier from zero (drain impedance pots) again!

Yes, they make them.
No, they are not the same as Toshiba.
It states on the datasheet that they are a second source.

Obviously they aren't made by Toshiba. But do they perform the same? Will they sound the same or not worth it?

For these purposes they are fine. Actually, in our testing they fit all our
applications.

Linear promised at BA-2011 that the p-channel counterparts would be out soon. Have not heard anything yet. That would be awesome for a pass diy point of view.

Has anyone considered using FQA36P15 and FQA28N15?

Would they be suitable replacements for output devices?

Farnell stock them but the N channel device is U.S stock only.

They are also stocked by mouser in the US.
I do an order every couple of months with them and they are far cheaper on these than Farnell.

I be happy to suply any UK with FQA12P20 and FQP19N20
note the FQPis TO220 but it has been fine for me since last August

Let me know what you consider fair price and we take it from there.

For Farnell they charge £15 for USA stock whic is not bad but see post 11930
