I’m pretty sure ZM mentioned this in the past, but it can also be worthwhile playing around with a makeshift ‘gasket’ to optimize airflow. I used some cheap 20mm foam for sealing windows. Works nice

I tried and it's all the same ............. unless in case that your amp is really scorched, needing any help, badly

My bottom plate doesn’t have much ventilation, so in my specific instance the extra bit of pressure has helped. That said, any air that isn’t blowing through the chassis is blowing around the chassis/heatsinks. Cooling either way. You’re right (as usual…)

Yeah, I’d have a hard time with those green tubes. On the other hand, I LOVE blue cars!

At least two inches, with the fan not embedded in the wooden board
By the way I'll put a DAC downside.
@Cody: 12cm computer fan for cabinet. Sleeve bearing type. 12Vdc with a simple SMPS

simplest way of decreasing voltage ( and you'll need it) is just put enough 1N400* in series - each eating almost 0V6

you can put them inside SMPS, or wherever - under the board
