Pictures of your diy Pass amplifier

Thanks

@ Cody, thank you sir. :)

@ ZenMod, my first Fugly! High praise from the master. :clown:

@Brianco, thank you, it's just a sticker with a couple LEDs. I almost went with a joker/jester. There are some skulls with headphones on, but I couldn't find one I liked. This one has the blue line indicating law enforcement as I have friends there. :wave:

@Onkal, much obliged sir.

@Soudhappy, it is a little childish, but once that's gone what's left? :cool:

Long lost twin - orphaned but now in a new home

I missed the opportunity to pick up this amp many many years ago:

But I found out that there was a long lost twin!!!

So I adopted this orphan today! Thanks Peter! :cheers:

I forgot to add where it was originally from and I forgot to ask Peter to autograph it.

Post #103 - I remember there was a thread where someone figured out how to hard link a specific post but for me it still buries the page number in it and behaves differently for different people. If you have 50 posts per page this will work, otherwise just know it's post #103

Not sure what it will be just yet but most likely candidate right now is F3 ... but this one has not been drilled yet so I may still apply the UMS but that won't match Peter's old 2x3 layout.

My headphone amp and pre amp WHAMMY.
Beefed up heatsinks, bias, decoupling caps, removed coupling caps.
0.4mV dc out, sounds nothing short of amazing.
Really happy I picked this one for my first build ever.

I recently finished a Pearl 2, which was the last piece in my fully diy signal chain. For whatever reason, when I started diy-ing I was really focused on trying to build everything between source and speaker. Pictured are the Pearl 2, B1 and an Aleph J. I occasionally swap the AJ out for an F6.

On to the next build!
