Pictures of your diy Pass amplifier

31KG!!!!! That's an installation piece.

Out of interest, do you know the dissipation rate specification of your sinks? I am wondering if my F5 sinks are adequate for an F5 Turbo.

I am using Conrad MF35-151.5, which are rated at 0.21°c/w for 80°c rise, which are very comfortable for a standard F5, but I don't know what else...

heatsink usa has this information for these heatsink: C/W/3": approximately .80 . but my design isn't very effective, chopped the heatsink in two and place them side by side would be at least 20% better. high heatsink aren't perfect. also my f5t has only 3 pairs of mosfet not 4 as in the orginal desing. look at the f5t i made for my brother (after hearing it i decide to build one for myself). this case has two 20*30 cm heatsinks, case weight 15 kg, the amp at end 22 kg. i could biased this amp to 1.25 a. i woulden't take the conrad heatsinks, min size 20*30cm, bigger is better, also look that the base is thicker, better 1cm+. you can finde this classic case for 180 usd + 130 usd shipping at a big chinese internet shopping sites. i'm shure you find here a lot of people with nice tips where to buy adequate heatsinks.

Here is my F5 amplifier.
it is in half metal half wood case.
front side has nut wood face,
In doing frontpanel i inspired partly from Pass Labs' Point 5 series amplifier and partly from Dan D'agustino's Momentum monoblock amplifier.
Amplifier's total bias is 2.5A seen in front panel's bias indicator as in the same way the Dan D'agustino's momentum amplifier does the power.
Amplifier's total weight is about 15kg and the dimensions are 430-320-120mm

I coudnt find any rear panel pictures, sorry for that but in the first opportunity i will do that.

My B1. Took some time to get the design to my liking but I think it's quite nice now. :)

Back switch selects between: batteries / off / outboard power supply.
