I am considering a DIY B4 variant for my closed subwoofers and my Quads, so no dipole compensation necessary. But I do not need crossover frequencies above max 200 Hz. So one option is to skip the resistors and DIP switches for the higher frequencies, another is to improve the granularity below 200 by changing the values. But maybe the original 25 Hz steps is enough.
(But it was a good exercise to reverse engineer the B4, even if my version should fail to surface.)

The DIY B4 that is planned does not come with steps, it is fully continuous with the help of trim pots. You need to set these to get the desired slopes.

Yes. I know that. Still, I liked the DIP concept quite a lot.

Hi Nelson,

Do you have a release date for the PCBs yet? I’m in for 4 to 6 of them and can’t wait!

Thank you!

The boards work like glue, and I am only lacking the user documentation.

Is there a schematic of the kit version somewhere in this thread? I saw the schematic for the commercial version in the First Watt B4 users manual, and thought that I read every post in this thread. Did I miss it?

No, it is part of the documentation that I referred to as not complete.
