Want to try on my TAD2402 replacing the crossover. Hopefully brings it to another level!
But u will need the correction network for the horn
Will do the same in future,
Regards
Alex
Do you have a schematic for the stock 2402?Want to try on my TAD2402 replacing the crossover. Hopefully brings it to another level!
The final board art has been tested, and a correction was made for a
connection error. At this time I have a small qty of the final board, and
I am ready to get it out the door.
Attached is a drawing showing the layout and mounting dimensions.
You will note that provision is made for wire connections or on-board
Rean RCA connectors.
Power supply is +24V, although it will run off other DC voltages.
There are on-board level pots, but you can send wires into those holes
instead.
The circuit accommodates 6/12/18/24 dB/oct and the poles are adjustable
for a 2 octave range.
For a given application, it is designed to use all filter capacitors of one
value with Wima polypropylene film as standard. Cap value is selected
for center of the 2 octave range.
It uses selected J113 Jfets as followers and matched constant current
sources.
Nominal specs are:
-1 dB @ 200 KHz, -3 dB @ 1.5 Hz
5 V rms max output, .002% thd @ 1V high pass, .008% thd @ 1v low pass
