Then throw in a picture of my now "classic" steel mountain bike. It would have cost me $2600 back in the mid-90's with my discount, picked it up a few years ago for $350. Based on the serial number I think I know who raced it for a season.
Sort of like a Threshold preamp that went on the bay last week but the preamp retained more of it's value.

Lords of Lightning

The lightning bolt coming from the the Faraday cage over the guy's head reminds me of when I was working installing cable TV on power poles in cable's infancy.

We rarely wore our hard hats in those days, but on one climb I decided to follow the rules for some unknown reason. As I climbed the pole my head bumped into a power line that had come loose and dropped from it's insulator! I'm lucky I'm still here to talk about it.
