I'm in a rental with a view of the house under construction. The walls
are framed, and they're working to get the roof on before the rainy
season gets serious.

So I'm listening to my Sony V900 headphones with an Ipod.

Convenient, but with 24 ohms impedance does the ipod drive them okay? At the other end of the scale, my Senns are 300 ohm and I need some voltage gain.

You really have to learn to just tell people, that your (insert name of project in question) is done by Christmas......

That's what I used to do, now people have quite asking, but look real surprised when something is finished

Yes, it seems to do a very good job. The Sony headphones are very
good sounding.

And very comfy.

This time of year I end up using the cold as an excuse for my lack of productivity. Heating up the garage when it is 0 deg F (-18 deg C) is a bit daunting. Too much steel, concrete and air leaks combined with too little insulation. I guess that presents another unfinished project
