Hi, I'm new here.

Been looking around the forum for some info:

I am currently "renovating" some hand made speakers from the 70s or 80s.
Seems the tweeters and the capacitors are dead.
Looking for a good replacement for the ERO MKT1813 4.4µF (4.4uF) 250V 5%.
Seems they are not produced any more.
Can anyone suggest some proper replacement for them?
Vishay (formerly ERO) has 4.7uF 250V 10% in current production, but I have read they are not of the same quality.

But if experienced, you should drop us a shematic of the crossover you draw on paper with the resistors and capacitors values (and the coils if you can measure them).

Maybe you have the drivers reference ?

It's to help you the best way. For instance some capacitor are less expensive that this Ero MKT and could suit (perhaps) better. While nothing bad with these MKT.

@as_audio
That is correct, just checked them and the are fine. Sry about my carelessness.

Now it's just the tweeters that need replacing. Sadly, the company Audio Spectrum seems to be out of business. It's been a greek company.
The tweeters are made by them. They are labeled:
SEC S.A.
013D11
8 OHM
SEC probably stands for Spectrum Electronics
They are 1 inch in size.

The speakers are named CM-100.
I am having difficulties to find information on the speakers. The only info I could find is from this prospect someone scanned on a greek AV forum:

Hi, excuse my delay, I was distracted the last weeks.

Here is some pics of the tweeter I am looking to replace.
It seems they originate from a Korean Company, but I can not find any source or info on the company nor on their tweeters.
Any recommendations?

Hi, sorry for my delay, I was distracted the last weeks.

Here is some images I made of the tweeter.

I read somewhere that the company SEC S.A. is supposedly Taiwanese. Or was. Seems not to exist anymore, I can not find any source or info.

Any recommendations?
