Hi Y'all,

I was wondering who makes this chip?
It's supposed to be based on a brand new technology.

And supposed to keep the power grid safe etc.
I would assume it is an North American company?

Thoughts, ideas, what it's supposed to do etc?
During my net surfing it keeps showing up in links etc.

I found the actual executive order (May 2020) LINK.

Report is required by May 2021.

Supposedly a small cap type company is making these
or replacements that will upsurp the chinese manufacturers from
selling to the U.S., etc.

I believe there is a real threat and it's always better to be safe
then sorry.

Here are the APPA's comments and concerns, LINK.

Here is the ESA comment LINK.

I found the link to the original chip post: LINK

As we all know, it's pretty simple to find stocks that made
a bundle in the past and say see what I did. It's quite another
thing to have actual proof.

Google can be your friend until they pull the rug out from under you.

Cheers,

Let me paraphrase the executive order, its simply prevents electricity providers from installing I.T infrastructure equipment (Scada Equipment, switches, routers etc) from countries the US considers foreign adversaries due to the risk of hidden software backdoors.

The chip pictured will do nothing to prevent a cyber attack.

Ok, those selling are claiming a trillion dollar industry that will
be better than sex in the next decade all for the current $8 stock
investment they want $$$ to reveal the company's name.

I don't think I've ever been bombarded by such BS.

And then there is the "battery eliminator"
along with the dirty oil looking stuff we are supposed to
wipe on our windows to make us green compliant.

All trillion dollar markets can be found in penny and small cap stocks.

I just want to find who makes the PARTS so I can give something to my
kid down the road. Yes, this is a parts thread after all, just want to keep
focused. :)

Cheers,

Asymmetric packaging, interesting and that explains a lot also.

There was some more interesting reading about who has the

largest Fiber network in the world... regular sources say:
1.ATT
2. Verizon
...

10.

These were eclipsed by an unknown entity that supposedly has
something like 10 times more fiber miles than all the top ten companies combined.

It's interesting, I wonder if Corning Glass Works well let me know who they are selling
the most fiber cabling to?

A parting thought I wonder if Elon Musk and his low earth orbit satellite network
will eclipse fiber cable when employed?

I wonder who makes PARTS for that and it might be nice if
there are audio & video streaming to go along with it?

Cheers,

If a company has this highly advanced product but they are asking you to give them money just to reveal who they are, doesn't it sound like a scam ?

When stating the "largest fibre network" in the world what context is this statement made, number of cables, distance, capacity ?

What would the sales information from Corning Glass give you in regards to fibre networks, they are just one supplier of optical fibre cable from many global suppliers.

Low Earth Satellites can't compete with Optical Fibre in regards to speed and capacity, how it does compete is in sparsely populated areas where it's not economically viable to run fibre.

Without links to information or articles it's difficult to determine what you are asking since we only have a picture of some nondescript integrated circuit.

I'm having trouble following the logic of your posts.

Please post the link to the actual chip page, otherwise this thread is meaningless.

As of the 3 links you DID provide, NONE of them even mention it, go figure.

All them can be boiled down to:"why oh why did we give our Industry away?" which of couse is true, but is not a "Technical" problem, in my opinion a very poor Political decision , basically killing the golden goose for short term economical profit.

It worked for some 40 years , just by the sheer inertia of the HUGE US economy, but sooner or later the machine runs out of steam.

Not too late to revert it, but action must be taken, on all fronts; bulk Energy being just one cog in the machine.

Instead of rethoric warnings and such, as in those "executive orders", practical action would be to impose Tariff, as stiff as needed, plus % quotas, so Chinese electrical equipment becomes unattractive and it pays to make them again in the US.

No magic chips will do anything until the main problem is tackled.

@ JonSnell Electronic, billshurv, Indiglo, davidsrsb, JMFahey,
and Everyman:

Thanks for sharing your thoughts and information. I figured there
would be some industry experts here, former or current fab/chip designers,
consumer, and electric techs that would have/know more information
than I have.

This resulted from information/spam being sent to me. Yes, they want
money to reveal their golden egg--Because I'm not likely to part with
my assets for this kind of stuff, I thought I might check around here
to see if you thoughts/thinking are the same as mine.

Don't feel bad if some of this doesn't sound logical because it isn't.
I'd rather not re-post spam here either. However you have given me
the information that I need and the confidence to ignore the information/spam
that is being sent to me.

As any sharp business owner knows, especially those who have been involved
in sales, one should always take sales calls from salesmen/women/its. One never knows what problems could be solved or efficiencies gained.

I've personally verified this from a few successful business owners.

I might not be the sharpest crayon in the box, I appreciate information
from those crayons sharper than myself.

Cheers,

Post Script: Please don't let my little girl know I've borrowed some of her crayons.

Eureka!
I'm ready to make my third million!

Or so it goes right?

Here is the info for the chip I originally posted about: LINK

If they would just let me know who makes that chip?

I'm looking for that liquid to apply to glass that generates electricity.
I can just carry a small piece that will power my portable stereo!

We can all have some fun with the audio foolery!

Cheers,

I went a bit further down the rabbit hole, the chip in question is a BAW Filter used in RF applications. The link is to a guy who gives investment advice (I couldn't be bothered to read his garbage), he wants you to sign up for his investment newsletter. Spend 60 seconds with a internet search engine and you will find the company in question who designs these types of RF filters.
In conclusion move along, nothing special to see here. Enough time wasted.
