Default Harris versus Central semi ?

I have two sources, one offering NOS Harris semiconductor and the other selling up to date Central Semiconductor transistor.

Obviouly, my question will be, witch one do I choose ?

Harris changed their name to Intersil sometime in the 1990's I believe, the company got into the semiconductor and defense electronics business in the 1960's (they were, I believe the Intertype Corporation). The original Harris is now part of L3 corporation, another large defense electronics firm. So you're probably buying legacy parts from a defense electronics firm.

Intersil is now part of Renesas (Hitachi).

Harris packaged and tested here in Kuala Lumpur in the 90s. They were important Mil Spec suppliers in those days.
