Alpha Taiwan vertical pots

Hello,

I need a vertical pcb mounting pot, 250k linear.

I was looking at Alpha's RV24AF-40 (24's because I need 0.5W) here
here on page 2

How is that supposed to be mounted?
I see 1.2 diameter holes for the pcb but those leg seems very large.

Do you know of any similar pots?
I'd like to have the pcb on the back of the pots body, should I simply buy the RV24AF-30 and revers bend the leads?
