Forgive me if this is ridiculous.

I am choosing wire size for a build. I would like a heavy gauge wire. However, the size I am considering just barely makes it through the pcb hole. It is as tight as it gets. Would this be a problem? Should I scale back so there is a good bit of solder between wire and pad? Thanks

Internal amp wiring 28 ga is fine the currents are under 250 ma.
Driver emitter to output transistor base one needs 24 ga the currents can be 5 A. 18 ga would be more generous.
Output transistor emitters to speaker jack, 18 ga minimum, generous is 14 ga. If only one output transistor 70 w amp 24 ga will work.
