As suggested here, 2SC/KSC945 or -1845 should be a good match and are quite common.
Note that the AU-5900 suffers from several issues that make it needlessly noisy stock (low PSRR, noisy regulator and subpar grounding) and should preferably be tackled once repairs are out of the way. You can find a summary with links to discussion here.

Often its the gain category, A/B/C/... being higher and higher gain categories.what's the difference in F behind the number.
I found a site listing the 2SC711F as equivalent NTE85 (gain 100--300)
and 2SC711G as equiv NTE199 (gain 400--800), so I'm not sure whether this is the pattern here (what do A/B/C/D mean?)
I found in google. NET85 is the same as C945 on this site.
