Once again ... beware from buying chinese audio opamps!
I bought 10 OPA1612 from a chinese ebay seller. They are ~6..7 EUR at
Mouser. I payed 6.80 EUR for all ten. So i expected to get fakes but i
wanted to know it for shure.
I opened one SO-8 package and put it under the microscope in our workshop.
It turned out that these OPA1612 are cheap TL082 FET Opamps as you
can see on the photos. I also attached a chip schematic from the 1999
datasheet from TI. The similarity of the shown photos with that of the
datasheet looks obvious to me allthough the quality of my photos is not
the best. The crosses you can see on the chip are the butterfly input
FET transistors. The OPA1612 is a bipolar Opamp instead!
