Arrow Electronics is one of the largest US distributors and they have the product in stock (even though it's obsolete).
At least here in Germany you can get BC550's and BC560's in almost any quantity you want. So I can't follow this statement.

Are you sure ? BC550C is active and you can find it every where, but not BC560C.
Been doing quite a few power amps simulations, and for most of them I use those for the front end, at least.
when did you look there? Seems like old info, as I just re-checked and can't even find the 550, and although the 560 can be found, there is no price and way to buy any.
Because i did not find any Mundorf MCap under 450v for 10uf...Now you can choose an other capacitor that feel your need..i just like Mundorf MCap

You can take a 47uF electrolytic capacitor without any deterioration in the measured values.
Its not very complicated. I have a few thousand of OnSemi/Fairchild BC550C and BC560C each (not in production anymore). I calculated the price I'd have to ask for a bag of 100 pieces. I ended up at about CHF 20 per bag. Then you would have to add shipping costs.
SDIL still makes those parts, soyou can buy those at lower cost from the big sellers. I therefore think that a proper group buy does not make much sense. If you still want some of my BC550C or BC560C, send me a PM.
