I want to make a 40+ step ladder attenuator without any external controls (except the bluetooth on/off, pairing, etc). What do I need to do to make a bluetooth controller to switch between steps, controlled by an app on my phone? Is there a product that does this, or am I going to have to learn how to program it myself with a pi or arduino or something?
App control is critical for me, everything I've found so far comes with a remote control that can get lost or broken, and they're mostly for marine use. Not what I'm looking for.
What kind of hardware do I need to use for this? I'm sure this would have to be microprocessor controlled, but that also means I can make as many steps as I can physically fit in the enclosure, right?
