What kind of heat sink is this?

Anyone recognize this style? I'm trying to identify for possible amp use. Thanks for looking!

It looks to be custom - so very unlikely to find it in a catalog. You could try contacting heatsink manufacturers if you wanted to chase it down.

Are the bolt spacings sized for an 80mm fan?

Does the number on the price tag relate to any description?

The profile indicates devices with large contact areas would mount on the top thick section only - eg. 25W+ metal type power resistors, or large semi flatpak devices.

You may be able to estimate a thermal resistance by looking for somewhat similar heatsinks made specifically for 80mm fans.
 
That is indead a strange one. Wakefield makes a lot of there sinks designed for forced air by using a lot of fins bonded to a base plate. But they usualy use a lot more fins that are both closer together and from thiner material. I bet this one would be best for use with a fan but might do ok at lower power without a fan.
