Brushless motor as used in many high end older CD players including those with the KSS-190A and BU-1 pick-ups.

Have you got an dead player going spare?

Written on the side of the motor is normally a model number. That may help in identifying the motor.

Hi Jon,

I'm afraid I couldn't find any model number but here are some pictures which may help. I'll have a look through the service manual bill of materials to see if that has any sort of part number.
