I am looking for information on the profile shown below. I was given 4 of these heatsinks, which were sourced for a commercial project that was scrapped. The profile appears to be about 2" tall with a thick baseplate. It is 7" wide. The extrusions are 15" long. I am considering cutting them all in half and building a pair of monoblock chassis for a Aleph or something. The base plate is almost 1/2" thick and the bottom is milled to a very smooth finish. They were originally made for use for a high-end refrigeration product, not an audio project.
I searched Aavid's list of profiles and couldn't find a match. I am trying to find the specs.

One thing you could do, and which I have tried with some of the
heat sinks in my junk box, is to attach a transistor or power
resistor to it, burn a know power in this device and monitor the
temperature of the heatsink until it starts to plane out. Knowing
the Rjc of the device from the datasheet, yo should be able to
calculate some rough estimate of the heat sink thermal properties.
The major problem I think is to find an easy way to measure the
temperature of the heat sink accurately, but you should be able
to get a rough estimate, at least.
