Hi everyone. I was searching the internet trying to find how to control a single-coil latching relay, and came upon your forum. I was hoping someone could help me out.

I am basically building a home electronics project. I want to use a single coil latching relay in order to reduce power consumption. This is the relay that I'm using, it is a Panasonic SPST-NO latching relay:

I have a circuit that I am able to control with a typical relay (SPST NO) so that when current is going through the relay, it is functional and when the current is off it is like an open circuit through the relay.

I am trying to figure out how I can replace that with this latching relay, so that I can somehow control this circuity depending on the polarity of the current that reaches my relay.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
