Hi folks,

I'm having trouble in a battery application where a switch I'm using to carry DC is building up gunk over time and limiting current delivery to the circuit.

I'm looking for something as simple to use as a single toggle or rotary switch. The catch is that it needs 4PDT operation in one switching action.

The requirement is for 24V at about 100mA, probably more because the caps are starved to start with. This means we can dissipate up to 2W or so in the worst case. There is an initial spark, some soot deposition, and a bit of welding. Not great for a switch.

Any suggestions for alternatives are welcome. Thanks,

-Chris
