+/-15V power to a TI PGA2310. 15V regulators sufficient or do I need adjustable??

I'm building a circuit around a Texas Instruments PGA2310 digitally controlled volume controlled and I wanted to know if you guys think +15V and -15V fixed linear regulators are sufficient or if I should use + and - adjustable regulators.

Anybody have any thoughts? I'm wondering because I don't know if it matters if the +/-15V is off a little bit.

Technically speaking adjustable regulators usually have better noise specs than fixed regulators. Does it matter? That depends on the rest of your system and how picky you are. I'm fine with using fixed regs, but others avoid them like the plague.

And no, it doesn't matter if the positive and negative supplies don't match exactly as long as you don't exceed the devices voltage limit.

With the adjustable regulators you can bypass the ADJ pin with a small electrolytic cap. It will be a lot quieter. Bob Pease from National Semi wrote an article on this in his book "Troubleshooting Analog Circuits".
