From time to time I see ads for headshells built in small lots, some from exotic materials and very expensive. One thing they all seem to have in common is the same connector plug, the one that has the arm contact pins at one end and the cartridge lead pins at the other. My guess is that all these small-lot headshell crafters are buying certain standard parts in bulk. Does anyone know where these come from? Web searches don't seem to turn anything up.
