Header connector, ANGLED and with long (high) pins

Anybody where to look to find a header connector (14-pin) which is with long pins so it will be 10 mm or so above the pcb?

I want to dip the whole pcb into varnish and I want to avoid a messed up connector.

You could try searches at supplier websites for "wire wrap" types of headers. They have very long pins on the mounting side.

I want also that the connector can stand properly when soldered. The straight ones have plastic at the bottom also.

Are you talking about those IC pin pitched header pins?

I don't know about angled from the shop. but you get a long version... I think intended for stacking 2 PCBs, it even has 2 rows of that black spacers you talked about... I would say they are pretty easy to bend on the corner of a desk or in a vice....

They are pretty cheap, I know I have some, somewhere...
