Why not ? The mixers got balanced TRS out, the speakers got XLR in.

and depending on what the actual topology of the "balanced" out is what's happening is a crap shoot.

Well the image I posted is the cable I'd use with a mixer with TRS balanced out going to a speaker with XLR balanced in.

What would you use ?

Sorry I've been out for days. Like Cal remind me about the initial post and thank you Cal, the problem is when there's an extra hook everything shot down...! As a technician I could see that the load seen by the mixer gets to low and signal is beeing eat by loads. The impedance gets to low. If not, then only wiring seems to be pointed. Like I state before a quick look at mixer and loads (sub + speaker) specifications by manufacturer can lead to a common understanding. That include the pinout explanations.
