What is this behind Gregg Allman?

Hi all! I just joined the site as I'm getting ready to build some vented enclosures for a pair of JBL D140s I have laying around.

But my first post have nothing to do with that. I was listening to some Allman Brothers Band while working my day job from home and I noticed a strange piece of equipment behind Gregg Allman at 10:50 that I can't identify.

Anyone here know what it is?

I have disassembled a few. I might be able to dig up some pictures if you’d like?

Usually used with organs (even built-in) and a pain to slepp into the venue (i was a roadie sometimes during Uni).

If it's not too much effort. I'm reading the wikipedia article and watching YouTube videos, trying to get my head wrapped around how it works and sounds.
