Default 4 Speakers

Hello everyone!

Looking to see if it's possible to have 2 speakers at one volume and 2 at another. We have a baseball field with Bose Environmental 251 speakers on the outside of the pressbox for announcing. In our concessions stand and indoor room we want a speaker for them to hear as well. We have Bose Environmental 151 for those spaces. We have a Peavey pvi6500 amp. I can't find a way to make the speakers in the rooms lower than the speakers outside.

Suggestions?

A little league helper will probably get some good advice around here. Chris, firstly, thanks for being a volunteer. Secondly, what you need is something to attenuate the indoor speakers. I am guessing the PA guys know this like the back of their hands and can help you.
I am thinking maybe some sort of rheostat so you have full variability, but the smart guys here should be able to help more than me.
Cheers.

EDIT: We discourage multiple threads on the same subject so let's keep it all in this one.

It appears the PV has 2 amplifer outputs with separate controls, have you tried connecting the room speakers to the monitor output with the outside speakers on the main output.

Agree.
Check Page 22 of the User Manual.
Quote:
MONITOR VOLUME
An independent volume control that is active only when
switch 15 is placed in the LEFT position. This allows the
user independent volume control over the two internal
power amplifiers. This is especially convenient when using
power amp 2 to drive monitor speakers.
MASTER VOLUME
The master level control for the main mix and the overall
volume of the powered mixer. When switch 15 is in the
RIGHT position, the master volume controls both internal
power amplifiers.
On the back panel you have separate output jacks , one labelled Main-Main , meaning it has the main signal there and is controlled by the Main Volume always.
The other is labelled Main-Monitor, and depending on selector switch position, itīs either controlled by Main Volume (both amps from a single pot) os separate from Main, controlled by its own Monitor potentiometer.

So set up switch to left, connect outside speakers to Main Out; internal speakers to Monitor out and set Monitor volume as low as needed as notb to be annoying.

That said, no big deal inside, but I think you are severely underpowered for outside use.

Please post baseball court or field dimensions, but you have meager 100W RMS driving 2 quite inefficient small speakers.
Speaker complement is just a 5" "woofer" , 2 2.5" midrange ones and a single tweeter.

Maybe enough for a Senior Ladies Bingo and not much more.
