Hello everyone,
I have Dynacord Powermate 1600-2 and I want to change two potentiometers. The problem is that after I removed them I am getting some strange values which are not very consistent with the online schematics, and I don't know if they are broke or not. So the question is: can anyone tell me the values for the FX1 and FX2 potentiometers (reverb hall and reverb echo), I would be very very grateful. When I measure them on-board the value I get from pin1 to pin3 is 2kOhm, but in the schematics there are no pots with those values. Best regards, Metodij. |

Should read 20k or 10k, depending on position, according to the schematics I have.
Read the value on the pot, it should have a mark on it. You cannot read them successfully on the board. If they are scratchy, clean them with a switch lubricant like Servisol.

Took out the FX2 pot, it reads 20K, but those on board measure 2K, that is what was confusing me. There is something probably in parallel with the pot.
Can you somehow name the value of the FX1 pot from the schematic please? I would be very very grateful. |
