Add me to the group that would advise against using multiple (4 to 6) small tops instead of 2 larger ones.
Unless you have a horizontal dispersion need greater than 90-100 degrees, a single box will sound much better than multiples splayed.
If you don't need the horizontal dispersion, and you stack the multiples vertically horn-to horn, you will get more comb filtering dipping lower in freq than you want.
And cheap small boxes aren't going to hold patter well horizontally, so you're sure to get combing when you array then horiz.
I'd strongly advise to put all the money that would go into multiples and build better single 90 degree boxes....a good CD on top a 12" is tried and true..
