Live, small group of acoustic instruments, such a particular voice and we have an explosive combination!

The sound is too bright to me. Music from digital masters 80's and 90's usually are problematic, much more with commercial/popular music. And it is a recopilatory of soundtracks from previous years, more problematic.

Better sound with a light EQ.

Days ago I commented on the thread of the last DIY project of xrk971, The Melbourne Class A Headphone Amp and Pre-amp, the idea of creating a very good SS buffer with H2 predominance and adjustable.
Would that gadget serve to add the emotion that is missing from this recording?
I want to have adrenaline rush with the new recordings coming from digital masters but I get it very rarely!

Here, Harmonia Mundi is taken advantage of the best SACD technology, compared to vinyl. An Editorial that focuses on quality in the recordings, which are common in the majority of those that edit classical, baroque or jazz.
But, the commercial/popular music is very mistreated, regardless of the support used. There are exceptions, such as the discography of the Rolling Stones or Creedence Clearwater Revival, which sound much better in the SACD Japanese editions than in any other support that I have heard.
In the end it is the usual, leaving technology aside, what is really important is the love for a job well done, the pursuit of excellence.
