Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark - The Punishment of Luxury
been a terrible day at work today. Had to leave after an hour to go home and pop painkiller into the hole where suner shines to stop my back from shouting out loud in pain.
Later came the heat back and I entered "zombie mode" at 2.00 PM.
Just before going home I placed, with considerable force and too many rpms the bit in my electric "screwing machine" in my thumb instead of on the screw head.
And when coming home opening the packet from USA with boards for the MFOS Noise Toaster and Echo Rockit it contained a single shitty board for a PSU ....
Need some music to calm me down and a beer.

OMD was one of the first synth bands that I got into - way back in the early 80s. It was their song Messages that got me hooked. YouTube
Ultavox's Reap the Wild Wind came out about a year later, and it too hooked me. I spent years trying to figure out which synth was used for the strings. Years later and thanks to the internet, I found out that it was a Yamaha SS30. Beautiful sound. YouTube
