Thanks Bonsai. Brings back memories of sitting down with my wife many years back and listening to Nina S, Ella F, Billie H and quite a few others. Wonderful music and artists.

Nina started wanting to be a classical pianist, and started playing the music she became famous for to get an income. I believe that she was resentful that her career was based on music she wasn't as interested in. I've read that Bach was quite influential on her jazz piano style.
