Got to be good hasn't it?
This is a clip from the film "Sun Valley Serenade."
The song is, "I know Why," by Mack Gordon and Harry Warren.
The "singer," is actress Lynn Bari, only it's not, she's lipsyncing to the voice of twenty year-old Pat Friday.

Yeah, I enjoyed Sun Valley Serenade. Even though it's a 1941 film, it's particularly implacable. Too many cases of lip syncing from the popular singers on the web though - YouTube.

Just dawned on me that it was actually used as a soundtrack in Memphis Belle drama. The film was directed by Michael Caton-Jones.

Here's another, Bea Wain in 1939 singing at the age of 22, a Hoagy Carmichael classic. she lived to see her one hundredth birthday.
